Vacancy ID: NF0006656Position Summary/Description: The Accountant is responsible for day-to-day financial and business operations matters associated with the School of Education. This position reports to the Director of Finance and ensures compliance with all transactions related to the School's funds. This position will process a wide range of actions from multiple sources: state appropriations, state-appropriated receipts, contracts and grants, facilities and administrative funds, education and technology fees, foundation, and other trust funds. The Accountant reviews and reconciles all transactions posted in PeopleSoft for accuracy, monitors the balances of the various funding sources, and provides reports to assist in reconciling budgets
